Make Poverty History 2006

A movement started 4 years ago to join a world wide campaign against poverty...lo mas seguro ya han oido de ella se llama "Make Poverty History". Here most people dont know about it or pay little attention to it if they do. Today I was sent a link to a very insteresting flash slide animation of what the world would be like (with studies and figures that actually resemble the real world) if the human population was reduced to a comminuty of 100 ppl. I also read a couple of texts in oficial make poverty history website (that ill post below) that october is the month most special events for this campaign are celebrated. For example the 17th of next october is the 4th Global White Band day...all you have to do is wear white wristband, or you can make your own wristband if you dont have one.

The sites also tell you how you can contribute (not in a financial way at all...but there are ways you can...if you want to) and ways you can spread by word of mouth making people aware that these campaigns exist and that everyone counts. You dont have to go crazy about it...or say look at this guy trying to get all political...just a simple action like sending an email is enough or write a post about it in your blog so that other ppl find out about it. Because it helps even if you think it doesnt.
